Results of Recent Cathedral Survey

Our consultants, Audience Agency, have undertaken an extensive survey of people who use the Cathedral as visitors, attendees of concerts and events, tourists, congregation and volunteers

This is important work as part of the National Heritage Lottery Funding and Cathedral Project, which is making excellent progress. While the detailed report is not yet completed they have produced word clouds that highlight the responses to questions in the survey. They make interesting reading of what people think about their Cathedral experience.

The first one relates to feedback on ‘possible better experience’ - ‘better access’ responses came from nearly 400 people. The second focuses on ‘anything else about your visit’.

There are many positives in these results about what the Cathedral does well and they should be celebrated.
