Dunvant Male Choir has the unique achievement of 128 years of unbroken history, enjoying the distinction of being the oldest in Wales with a continuous history. It was formed in January 1895 by a group of miners, steelworkers and quarrymen from the members of Ebenezer Chapel and is the archetypal Welsh Choir that sprang naturally from its community. They will be joining forces with our local choir – the Aberhonddu & District Male Choir – in the first concert of their national tour, during which they will perform at each of the six cathedrals in Wales in the course of a year.
